File extension download information

The Chrome Partial Download file is used by the Chrome Partial application to identify downloaded files on the Google’s Chrome browser. Google Chrome is a free web browser developed under the Chromium open source project to improve web security, web access speed and stability in comparison to other existing browsers. The browser incorporates the use of an API called Google Safe Browsing API. Chrome is able to detect harmful content from websites or practices like phishing where fake pages are injected to harvest private information from login pages.
Download files are also safe since any process that is started as a separate tab on the browser is not allowed to start or initiate its own process based on what happens in another tab running on the same browser window. Operating under the principle of least privilege or minimal privilege, a module, which could be a program, process or even the user, is limited to gathering information that is legitimate only to what it is running. Users are allowed to launch applications or run any operations with as few privileges as possible.
